Data Deletion Request
What data does Amical store?
Amical stores the following data on our servers:
- Account data — your email address and user ID, used to authenticate your account
- Usage and analytics data — anonymous device identifiers, app version, session activity, and performance metrics, collected via PostHog for usage tracking, abuse prevention, and service improvement
Amical does not store dictation history or voice recordings on our servers. All transcriptions are processed in real time and stored only on your device.
How to request data deletion
To request deletion of all data associated with your account, send an email to contact@amical.ai with the following:
- Subject line: Data Deletion Request
- Send from: the email address registered with your Amical account (for verification purposes)
What happens next
Once we receive your request, we will delete all account data and associated analytics data from our servers within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
